On 21–22 April 2026, the SATISPHACTION project was present at MeetingPack 2026, one of Spain's leading events dedicated to innovation in barrier materials and sustainable packaging, held at the Museu de les Ciències in Valencia.
Organised by AINIA and AIMPLAS, MeetingPack brings together key stakeholders from across the packaging value chain to discuss the latest trends, technological developments and challenges related to the transition towards a circular economy.
As part of its dissemination activities, SATISPHACTION shared its project leaflet with attendees, raising awareness of its innovative strategy for upcycling PHA bioplastics into high-performance materials for fully sustainable food packaging. The leaflet highlighted the project's integrated approach, combining chemical and biotic upcycling, AI-assisted polymer design and Safe and Sustainable by Design (SSbD) principles to advance circular solutions for the packaging sector.
Participation in MeetingPack 2026 provided an excellent opportunity to increase the project's visibility among researchers, technology providers, packaging manufacturers and industry representatives committed to accelerating the transition towards more sustainable packaging systems.
